Yay! Covenant University Is Hosting Google’s First Ever Women TechMakers Meetup in Nigeria.

This is an excited me:

If you know me in the slightest bit, you should know why I feel this way. For those who don’t, I am excited because I am an Eagle or, better yet, a Queen of Hebron.

😂

Okay, let me save you from googling “Queen of Hebron,” but those are terms used to describe a Covenant University Graduate or Undergraduate and yes, I am excited because I am a Covenant University graduate, happy now?

Anyway, Covenant University will play host to the first ever Women Techmakers Meetup in Nigeria. Google’s Women Techmaker is an initiative that provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology.  The summit itself will be hosted in April by women tech makers at Google’s office in Lagos.

The date for the Meetup is set for the 4th of March at Covenant University, Center Circle, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. You can click here to register.

Other cities set to host the Meetups include Katsina, Enugu, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Benin, and Kwara.
