Are You Prepared For the Screenshot Alerts?

So, guys:

In case you haven’t heard before now, Instagram is set (no date has been announced, yet) to unleash a feature that would notify a user when someone takes his/her screenshot on Instagram stories. In other words, you may need to slow down on taking screenshots on Instagram stories if you don’t want to be ratted out.

Why now?

I don’t know the answer to that question, but based on Instagram’s history of copying Snapchat, I am surprised that it has taken them this long to incorporate this feature.

So does this mean no more screenshots?

Well, not really.

You know that the Internet has a way of finding a workaround, so I’d expect that an app or extension would be created by a developer to bypass this. But until that time comes, start preparing to keep your screenshots at bay.

Creating history... One review at a time.

… WELL, MAYBE ITS FOR PRIVACY CONCERNS AND MOST ESPECIALLY KEEP PEOPLE ON THE PLATFORM BECAUSE IF THEY CAN’T SCREENSHOT AND THEY WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE AGAIN, OF COURSE, THE BEST BET WILL BE TO GO BACK TO THE APP.
MEANWHILE, I JUST DISCOVERED THAT THE APPS FOR SAVING PICTURES FROM INSTAGRAM ARE NO LONGER FUNCTIONING PROPERLY…
