Pimp Your Tweets With These Tricks

Have you ever wanted to add something different to your tweets and possibly garner enough attention that would be rewarded with retweets? (Twitter crazed know how add it is to get RTs).
We all know that going through the normal process of adding Emoji to make your tweet interesting is so 1987, so how can you achieve a lot with 140 characters  – Fellas, I present to you a “not so new” way of pimping your tweets either with a Computer or your Smartphones.
Let’s begin:

In order to be able to achieve this, you would need to download a free extension called  Bedazzle for Chrome.  When you are done installing, you should see a bedazzle icon under the box where you compose your tweet.

All you have to do is highlight the text and click on the bedazzle icon, this would open you up to a lot of options to choose from. I must give you a slight warning when using this extension, some of the tweaks offered by Bedazzle shows on desktop but are not visible on a mobile device – the only tweaks that are visible on mobile are Strikethrough, Underline, Fullwidth, Circled, Parenthesized, Scratches, Heavy Metal, Dotted Line, Upside-Down, and Dirt.

Since Smartphone is the hub of our twitter activities, you would need to have this type of solution on your devices. However, the Bedazzle  extension is only  exclusive to the desktop version of Twitter and I tried checking for an app that can achieve this but couldn’t find any.

So what is the solution?

There are several websites that create a platform where you can pimp your tweets to get the attention you want.

They include:

Like the name implies, this allows you flip your text over – just visit this link  type in your tweet in the text box provided and copy and paste on your twitter page

Bubble Text Inflator:

This is very old fashioned but I haven’t seen it anywhere on twitter – To achieve this effect visit the bubble text link above, type and copy out your text on Twitter

As said earlier, these tricks are not so new, but I haven’t really seen anyone use them on Twitter – So let me know if you have used them before!

Creating history... One review at a time.
