This Is What Happens When You Don’t Double Check Your Email Recipients.

Most of us (Including myself) have been guilty of sending an email to the wrong recipient, just a quick slip of the finger, and suddenly you’re sending your innermost secrets to your boss instead of your best friend.

Talk about embarrassing!

What is more embarrassing is having your “accidentally sent email” published on the top international tech blogs.

That is exactly what happened to an employee at Waggener Edstrom, a PR firm that handles communications for Microsoft. He/She accidentally sent an email to Gizmodo that showed how Microsoft plans to get press coverage for its new Skype chatbots. The email thread featured a one-and-a-half page dossier on Mark Sullivan, a senior writer for Fast Company. Of course, Gizmodo and other top international blogs wasted no time publishing the email on their platforms.  You can see the email below courtesy Gizmodo via TNW:

Yes, we all make mistakes, but, hopefully, this story would remind us to check and double check those email addresses before clicking on the send button.

Creating history... One review at a time.

Now that Facebook (instagram) is the new ” thief of bagdad”…. Wont be surprised if they do a “snapchat” on Microsoft.
