Fast And Furious: Check Out The Fastest Phones In Q1, 2016, International Version.

A lot of techies have come to rely on Antutu for Smartphone benchmarks because of their accuracy and reliance. For the not-so-techy, AnTuTu is one of the most popular benchmark apps for Android devices that tests many parts of your device and assigns an overall score.

Last year, Antutu crowned iPhone 6s and 6s Plus as the fastest phones in the world. Now, the company has released their fastest phones in Q1 and I felt both angry and happy at the same time. You’d find out why soon enough. This year the top fastest phones in the world are the Xiaomi Mi 5, Galaxy S7 Edge and iPhone 6s. See the list in the graph:01053425-content

The reason the top 2 fastest phones are closely following each other is because of the Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 processors used. However, the MI 5 clinched the title because of the smaller screen size.

So why am I angry? Majorly because thanks to Mi-Phone, Nigerians can’t easily get access to the Xiaomi MI 5 till further notice, It is so gut-wrenching.

…And I am happy because BAE’s brother is the second fastest phone in the world.

Meanwhile, let’s hail our Chinese brothers.

Creating history... One review at a time.

      Quite nice

It’s truly annoying, especially the fact I’ve never even heard of this so called MI-phones to begin with

Too bad, xiaomi makes great phones, quite suprising they beat the s7

… WELL, XIAOMI PHONES HAVE BEEN MAKING WAVES IN CHINA FOR QUITE SOME YEARS NOW, THAT COMPANY CAN OVER TAKE SAMSUNG AND APPLE IN YEARS TO COME IF THEY CONTINUE TO PERPETUATE THE MARKET WITH GOOD PHONES. SAMMY FOLLOWED CLOSELY, THAT’S GOOD…

No one searches for xiaomi phones like me in Nigeria but I can’t find. (except for those two ugly outdated ones on JUMIA). And the ones you find on other mysterious stores are unforgivingly priced. I feel triple bad.

I think the best way to get it is to have someone import it for you, but considering the current economic crisis, it’ll cost you more than expected.
