In Fela’s voice: “I say na craze world we dey oh.”
What would you be willing to give up to get one of the most coveted phones in the world? This 20-year old Ukraine man was ready to renounce his name — at least, he didn’t part with his kidney or body — to get an iPhone 7.
Olexander Turin officially became “iPhone Sim” (Seven) so that he could win a competition that would give him an iPhone 7.
According to PhoneArena, the iPhone 7 in Ukraine would have cost Turin $850, and considering that it costs him $2 just to change his name, it made perfect sense.
However, Turin does not want his future kids to refer to him as iPhone 7, so he does plan on switching back to his birth name when he has kids.
An iDiot or what?
