Facebook is Hosting a Pop-up Event in Lagos. See How You Can Attend.

In the past years, a lot of people have had a lot of questions about how Facebook works and how their information is being used, especially after the issues that plagued the company in 2018. To that effect, they are hosting a free pop-up information center in Lagos later this week where people can talk to them directly and ask any questions they want on the topics that matter to them.

So, if you have been searching for answers to your questions about Facebook:

The free event which is titled, It’s Your Facebook will be Facebook’s first pop-up in Lagos, the next city in its global tour which has seen similar events hosted across Dublin, Cologne and Dubai. The pop-up space will feature an interactive showcase of some of its most loved products, including Stories and Watch, as well as an area dedicated to Facebook Communities.

Facebook will be offering open sessions daily from 9.30am-12.45pm and pre-registered visitors can pop-by and ask their most burning questions, as well as get practical help and advice on everything from security settings, News Feed preferences to setting up business pages and advertising through the platform.

Commenting on the two-day event, Kezia Anim-Addo, Communications Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa said:

“We’re thrilled to be here in Lagos, the first African country in our It’s Your Facebook tour. We look forward to welcoming Lagosians to our pop-up space.”

… WELL, ITS A GOOD ONE FOR FACEBOOK AND WE THE USERS. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE WITH THIS IS THAT IT CAN’T CATER FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE. I’M SURE LAGOS DOESN’T HOUSE HALF OF THE FACEBOOK PLATFORM IN NIGERIA 🇳🇬.
    ITS A GOOD MOVE THOUGH…

I mean, it certainly isn’t Kano or Enugu or Bayelsa or Oyo state 😁😁😁
