Bring in the Budget Devices: HMD Global Just Unveiled Four New Budget Devices —The Nokia 210, 1 Plus, 3.2 and the Nokia 4.2.

With so many smartphones in the market today, choosing one can be a daunting task and HMD Global just made the task a tad bit difficult.

The company unveiled 4 new budget devices.

 

Now, for those who still don’t mind using a Java-based feature phone in 2019, you have the Nokia 210.

The handset runs Nokia’s Series 3O+ and has an app store to download games and apps. As for connectivity, the company claims that it offers dual SIM support, although the SIM cards can support only 3G network speeds. Other features include a rear camera with LED flash, a torchlight, FM Radio, 4MB RAM, 16MB ROM, and FM radio. Lastly, a removable 1,020mAh battery with up to “22 days” standby time fuels the device. It will be available in Red, Grey, and Black colors.

 

Did I mention that this comes with Snake preinstalled?

 

 

As for the cost, Nokia is pricing this at $35 which is about N12,000+


Next in line is the Nokia 1 Plus, which is a budget Android Pie (Go edition) device that features a 5.45-inch 18:9 display, removable back cover with a replaceable battery, and is thinner than last year’s model.

As for the price,  the 1 Plus costs $100 —N36,000 for the 8GB version, and $110 (N39,600) for the 16GB variant.


Then we have the Nokia 3.2 and 4.2, both phones feature a teardrop-shaped notch AI battery technology. Asides from that, you are going to get 2 new signature experiences. For one, Nokia has integrated the notification light into the power button, you also a dedicated Google Assistant button that quickly launches the voice assistant.

As the most expensive phone of the group, the Nokia 4.2 features two cameras on the back, a 13-megapixel standard camera and a 2-megapixel camera that senses depth.

 

It also features a fingerprint sensor and NFC for authorizing digital payments on Google Pay.

    Nokia 210 is cheap for me 12k is compared to that 3310 that I asked for and it was 17k in the market as of last month.
