You know how we all search for an image using Google search and then click on ‘view image’ to get a larger picture? Well, start saying your goodbyes because Google has removed it from Google Search.
It’s part of a deal Google has made with stock-photo agency Getty to end their legal battle.
Apparently, a lot of publishers have complained about people stealing their pictures and this removal is an attempt to strike a balance between serving user needs and publisher concerns.
That is not the only thing that has been removed:
Google has also removed the Search by Image feature, so you won’t be able to search for a similar image directly, but you can still do a reverse image search by dragging the said image to the search bar (On your PC, of course).
Similar to the “Search by Image” workaround, you can bypass the “View image” restriction by right-clicking on the image and selecting “Open Image in New Tab”, unfortunately, this only works on PCs.
