Google Assistant Now Has a Male Voice Option. Here's How to Enable It.

I don’t know which of the genders would like this new update, but Google has quietly added a robotic male voice to its Google assistant.

Henceforth, you can choose between the male (Voice II) or the female voice (Voice 1) option. To do this, head over to

  1. Open the Google Assistant app by long pressing the home button.
  2. Tap on the three-dot menu button and open Settings
  3. Open Preferences and then Assistant Voice.
  4. Switch from Voice I (female) to Voice II (male).
  5. If you don’t see it yet, try updating your Google app.

I tried it for 5 minutes and back to the female.

… WELL, I WILL ALWAYS PREFER THE FEMALE 🚺 VOICE. IMAGINE MY MOBILE 📱 ASSISTANT’S VOICE BEING MALE. I WILL UPDATE IN THE NIGHT 🌃.
THANKS GOOGLE FOR THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE THOUGH.

Dunno if I’ll try it but they should add a male British voice that sounds like Jarvis, he’ll be like a personal butler.
