iPhone Users Are Loving the New iOS 11-only App (The Feature Is Not Available on Android, Yet).

Yesterday, the iOS 11 was made available and we already have good and bad reviews (as expected), but more of the good reviews. One of the cool stuff is the new app called MeasureKit, which is literally a measuring app that is built on Apple’s augmented reality framework — ARKit

It’s just like a real ruler, only a lot better and way more fun.

It will allow you to point your iPhone’s camera at any object you’d like to measure up.

I especially like the cube feature where you drop a 3D cube wireframe onto a surface and resize it to match an object so you can see if it would fit.

Unlike Android, you don’t need a Tango-enabled phone or iPhone X to use this feature

All you need is to update to iOS 11, and download MeasureKit by clicking on this link.

I don’t give two hoots about a ruler app though. And this is not a strong point for me to jump on the Apple wagon. Android for life
