LinkedIn Lite Is Now Available to Download in Nigeria.

At less than 1MB (604kb), LinkedIn Lite is one of the smallest sized apps among other Lite apps such as Facebook Lite, Skype Lite, Messenger Lite and Twitter lite. Before now, it was only available in India, but, Linkedin’s lite app is now accessible in a number of MENA markets, including Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, and Tunisia.

As for the functionalities, with the lite app, you can

  • Search for people, alumni, seniors, jobs, and companies.
  • Connect with people.
  • Chat with your connections.
  • Edit your profile to include your education, skills and more.
  • Get the latest industry news and updates.

    LinkedIn really helps businesses generally but Nigerians are not into it. I’ve not seen any Nigerian ‘Linkedian’ that last up to a year on the app/site.
