This is the First Android App to "Forcefully" Surpass 5 Billion Downloads (Spoilers: You Won't Be Surprised).

There is a high possibility that you have thought about disabling this app at one point only to discover that your android device can’t live without it. I can just picture my smartphones reverencing the app with this song:

The app in question?
Google play services.
The app just passed five billion downloads on the Play Store, becoming the first app to do so. Scratch that! Becoming the first app to “forcefully” do so, because you don’t have a choice but to install it.

What are the functions of the app, you ask? Asides from being used to update Google apps and apps from Google Play, it is also responsible for the push notifications you get. It also provides core functionality like authentication to your Google services, synchronized contacts, access to all the latest user privacy settings, and higher quality, lower-powered location based services.” Basically, if you uninstall/remove Google Play Services from your phone, many apps would stop working and your phone would be quite useless.
Updated: A correction was made to the title.

Seriously forcefully. Even force closing the app alone knocks off a few apps too, not to mention when you try to uninstall. Can you even uninstall it? Maybe with root and Titanium Uninstaller though.
P.S. I am still waiting though.
