Meet Nokia's First High-End Smartphone.

This is a sneak peek:

However, I am hoping that this isn’t the final design. If it is, then Nokia:

What are you doing?

Words have it that the first high-end smartphone from HMD Global, will be called the Nokia 8, and it’s expected to launch on the 31st of July. Here’s a rundown of the rumored specs:

  • A 5.3-inch, 2560 x 1400 resolution display.
  • A Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, which is Qualcomm’s most powerful model.
  • 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM.
  • A dual-camera setup on the back, with both cameras set at 13-megapixels. It will reportedly come with Carl Zeiss optics.
  • Android 7.1.1 Nougat

Like I said earlier, the designs, especially the big bezels above and below the display is just a BIG NO for a flagship device! Hopefully, this is just something to start the conversation before the main launch, hopefully!

Hi Tobi, have you reviewed the new budget smartphone from Itel, the P51?

I like how the Carl Zeiss optics thing sound, I used to own a Nokia N82 With Carl Zeiss optics… It was amazing, in as much as it was just a 5mp shooter… I like Nokia.
I care less about the so called looks, it’s pricing that might make me lose interest.

They should make it look like a more premium Nokia 6.
I love the look of that phone.

I have to disagree with you on one thing MissTechy. Concerning the bezels. I. don’t think it’ll make much sense if all companies start following the small bezels trend. They should stick to their strong points, like performance. A phone can still look good with “normal” bezels.
Do a check on the LG G6 and their sales figures
