You Should Update Your Whatsapp Right Now.

For the longest time ever, Whatsapp only supported the sharing of photos, videos, and PDFs. Well, this update is here to change that. Henceforth, you can now share any FILE on WhatsApp.

The feature was leaked several weeks ago, but it is now available so you should probably update to it if you haven’t done so already.  Like the leak revealed, iOS users have a 128MB limit, Android users have a 100MB limit and web client users have a 64MB limit. There is also the fact that WhatsApp will stop compressing your photos, meaning that you can now send original photos and not worry about the quality being downgraded due to compression.

However, as we know, email is one of the most effective methods for delivering malware. With this new feature, it is highly likely that cyber criminals will turn their attentions to how they can use it to deliver malware to people’s phones. So ensure you check the sender before clicking on anything.

I honestly prefer if the pictures sent on whatsapp are compressed. Coz phones take pics of up to 8MBs!!!!! who the hell wants to download an 8mb photo sent on whatsapp????
