What Is the First Phone That Comes to Mind When You See the Gionee S10?

As a techy, if you did not see an iPhone 7 Plus, then you deserve this:

Now, take a second look at it (You can move the slider).
[sciba leftsrc=”https://misstechy.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/147086-iphone7-plus-gold-1-e1496080095965.png” leftlabel=”iPhone 7 Plus” rightsrc=”https://misstechy.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Gionee-S1-A-e1496080111383.jpg” rightlabel=”Gionee S10″ mode=”vertical” width=””]
Do you see it now?
Unlike the iPhone 7, the Gionee S10, yes, that is the name, comes with not 2, but 4 cameras, making it the first mass-produced phone in the world with four cameras.

I know!
You have a 16 MP and an 8 MP camera in the rear and a combination of a 20 MP camera and a secondary 8 MP camera in front.

Other specs include:
OS: Android 7.0 Nougat, Amigo OS 4.0
Processor: Mediatek MT6757T Helio P25
Display: 5.5-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, 2.5D Screen Glass
Dimensions: 155 x 76.8 x 7.4 mm
Weight: 178g
Battery: 3450mAh (non-removable)
RAM:4GB RAM
Storage: 64GB (expandable)
Cam: Dual 16 MP + 8 MP (rear)
Cam: Dual 20 MP + 8 MP (front)
Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE
Others: Fingerprint, microUSB 2.0, Dual SIM
So what is the use of four cameras, you ask:
Gionee says the back cameras have a f/1.8 aperture, helping it to achieve better low-light photography, they also help to enhance background detection and enable what may be claimed to be a better “Portrait Mode” bokeh effect than what you get on the iPhone 7 Plus. Asides from that, they are also able to catch 3D effects and distance measurement. While the front cameras help to achieve the “welfie” effect.

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t mind buying this just to see what the extra cameras bring to the table.
By the way, it comes with a price tag of $379 (Approx. N145,000).
Update: You also have the Gionee S10B (powered by an Helio P10 processor and 4GB of RAM, you get a dual camera (13MP + 5MP) on the back, but a single 16MP front-facing snapper) and Gionee S10C (powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 427 processor with an Adreno 308 GPU and 4GB of RAM along with a single rear camera and a 3,100 mAh battery capacity).

Gionee never ceases to amaze me. 4 cameras, is that really necessary. @MissTechy you should do a review for it, I can’t wait to see that.

    1. You will end up seeing sponsored posts by Gionee… They like being the ones to tell their story 😶

I don’t know why, but phones that emphasize everything on camera doesn’t trip me at all. For example Camon CX/CX Air.

Are Gionee in love with the Helio P series or what? And talk about value for money, although I still see the Marathon series as the perfect balance between everything smartphone.
