Google Assistant & Samsung's Bixby Go Head to Head with This New Feature.

At today’s I/O 2017 event, Google revealed that the assistant will be able to identify objects in real time using the camera app. Not only that, it would be able to provide relevant content about the identified object.

I am sitting here wondering where I have heard or seen that feature?

It appears that Samsung’s Bixby already debuted a similar feature on the Galaxy S8 and based on the number of times I have used it, I think it works quite well (Of course, it had a couple of misses, but that is expected). However, where Samsung’s Bixby is limited to finding similar images, Google’s new feature will use Google Lens technology to ensure it does way more than that. For example, you can use the feature to input your wifi credentials by pointing the camera to the paper that contains the said credentials.

Talk about tech-i-no-lo-gy!
