Regular Users Can Now Stream Live Videos On Facebook Using Their Laptops.

Prior to the announcement (which was yesterday), regular users could only stream live videos on mobile, but since there’s only so much you can do from a smartphone, Facebook has made the live video feature available for desktop and laptop users.

To go live, go to the status update section on your Facebook News Feed and expand the window by clicking on it.

Click on the live video, you can also add a description, but this is optional.

Click on next. Then, click on “Go Live.”

One major advantage of using your laptop to stream live videos is the ability to sync external software or hardware to your broadcasts.

It’s about time. Nice one Facebook.
Live broadcasts is always (not always) about events happening around. Would be weird ‘going live’ in an expressway with my laptop.
    Just thinking aloud.
