WhatsApp Is Testing New Features That Would Let Businesses Chat to You.

Businesses all over the world after reading the title:

Some Whatsapp users:

According to Reuters, WhatsApp is testing a new chat system that might allow businesses to speak directly with users, a feature it has never offered before and also a way for WhatsApp to start making money out of its service. Recall that WhatsApp hinted at a similar service in a blog post in January, 2016.

Grumbling users should look on the bright side because the new features could be used to provide customer support, or periodic alerts after obtaining your permission, of course. Also, WhatsApp is sticking to ensuring that businesses cannot use the new feature to spam you.
Finally, the report claims that the feature is still in its early stages, so don’t expect a launch date soon.
What do you think? A welcome development?

Some people are about to steal from LinkedIn and Google+. WhatsApp is rolling out features that’ll soon backfire at them.
There should be an “opt out” option in all these their new features.
