HTC Might Join The "Headphone-less" Gang!

The absence of the headphone jack might soon become the new cool! Now, rumor has it that the new mid-range device from HTC  — The HTC Bolt — might not feature the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Android 7.0 Nougat-powered smartphone is said to feature a 5.5-inch FHD display with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage plus microSD, an 18MP rear-facing camera with an f/2.0 lens and 4K video capabilities, a fingerprint sensor on the home button along with a USB type-C port.

The device is expected to be available globally, but no words on the precise date.

Now that HTC is doing away with the Headphone Jack, and given the copycat behavior found with most of these phone manufacturers, what would you do if your favorite phone manufacturer takes this approach?

Xtopher is right, Apple wasn’t the first to do it, it was some Chinese phone manufacturer called LeCo Or something, I like 3.5mm Jack Still.

But don’t you guys think that Apple is making most of the big names take the plunge? I mean, if only LeCo or Motorolla did it nobody would care, but I feel because it’s Apple, everyone is making it a big deal
