I am just going to drop this here.

I understand the concern of drone usage in Nigeria, its relatively cheap to acquire and robbers can make use of it for recon before striking especially at night for those armed with infra red sensor, but asking for potential users to be backed by a company with paid up share capital of over 2million is just plain stupid.
Okay na shebi you people want to go all tech in Nigeria, that’s the price, well no need to over flog the issue cos @Kazey’s tweet has said it all, but i know with time as we keep evolving into various tech worlds, this Country will come to terms with tech!…..
… WELL, IF IT WAS US OF A THAT’S ASKING FOR THE PRICE OF NIGERIA, I KNOW THE PRICE COMPARISON WILL NOT COME AGAINST THAT OF NIGERIA! BUT IMO, ITS NOT TOO MUCH O, WE CAN JUST ALLOW PEOPLE TO FLY DRONE ALMOST AT FREE AND CONVENIENT CLASS, WHAT IF BOKO HARAM TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THIS?…
hahahae @Obadara you say Boko?, well they should have technical guys in their team, but God forbid oo…#MissTechyForever
Its a pity…looks more like I was registering a private jet,,,,Nd besides are there even individuals to watch our skies???
The regulation is simply plain stupid. Criminals do not register drones. If Boko Haram or an armed robbery gang wants to use a drone, they will use a non-traceable (unregistered drone). Hence, this regulation is simply making things difficult for law abiding citizens
just seeing this now. A friend owns a drone, he’s a videographer, didn’t register or pay a dime to no one. 8months and counting and still flying.
