Although NTEL SIM cards are available, they are only available to those who stay in Abuja for now. As seen in the tweets NTEL deployed on their platform, people in Abuja have already started getting theirs. The SIM cards cost about N350 and you can get yours at the lobby of Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. No words on when it will sell in other states like Lagos and Port-Harcourt.

So, Lagosians, I am sorry we are going to miss out on the awoof promised to the first  100,000 NTEL customers.

The sim’z quite affordable considerinq the fact dah et’z 4G… dhe next batch to roll out will probably be for laqosian *finqers crossed*

    1. Henry says:

So, in order words, since it’s 4G, it’s ok to sell the sim at a higher price? They shouldn’t even sell it sef, well at least, to those that reserved. I reserved my Etisalat line and paid nothing when I picked it up. Other networks are selling their sims for 200 or 100 naira, wonder why they are even selling it at a much higher price given the fact they were delays in the distribution chain.

At least they have started somewhere, soon to see how good the network really is.

  4. Noni says:

I already said it was the big boys and gehs who will be among the first 100,000, and maybe a few smallies. Ntel’s tactic by starting in Abuja is no surprise at all.

    1. Titi says:

As in ehn.. Mschew. I dont know why they had to start there…. They want to first favor the big boys of abuja before they distribute it to the masses in other states. Mschew. The thing that would make me vent my anger is when they tell me they have exhausted the 100000 that is when craze go start ???

Hello Misstechy, dyu have any info as per n-tel sim cards? Will they work on 3g phones?

    1. Bernardo says:

They might but you wont get the 4g feature.

    2. Anonymous says:

I believe they would work on all phones given the fact that the old MTEL still had a 2G spectrum which is part of what was sold to the new NTEL. I think it will be silly not to use that spectrum given the fact that 4G phones aren’t that widespread in Nigeria as such.
