I Use An Unlimited Data Plan From MTN, But Most People Will Rather Not Go For It.

Yes! I use a modem that offers me an unlimited data, but after reading this, some of you will probably be like this guy below:
Let me cut to the chase, meet MTN Hynet – MTN’s 4G LTE modem that offers you a range of data plans including an unlimited data plan.
I know some of you might say there is no such thing as unlimited because Telcos always find a way around it through speed throttling or an unreachable data cap, say 250GB. However, I have had days where my brother and I downloaded approximately 290Gb in less than 3 weeks without noticing any speed throttling or bad Internet quality.
Moving on, you now know that MTN offers this through MTN Hynet, but what you don’t know is how much it will cost you. *coughs*
The MTN Hynet’s data plan I use will give me an unlimited data for 30 days, From 4pm – 6am on weekdays and 24hours unlimited internet on Weekends and public holidays, this cost me about N22,000 monthly (It was formerly N11,000, though). Whereas the 30 days 24hours unlimited plan goes for N35,000

Like I said earlier, they also have other plans, but after tasting the forbidden fruit called unlimited data, I don’t think I can go back to my data capping ways. Never!

Now that you know, what do you have to say – Are you walking away as predicted?

It’s not, if there’s no data cap or the data cap for 22k is 250gb+ then it’s very fair

… Its too expensive but I can actually buy it. What is the cost of the LTE modem?..

This kinda LTE is probably meant for businesses in the first place, cause I can’t imagine MTN making this plan for private individuals. 35k for Unlimited data for 1month? That’s reasonable for any startup or medium scale business owner tbh

  13. Gabriel says:

35k for unlimited bundle? 30days? Really?they should have made it to last for least 2months
