Goodbye, Motorolla!! Hello, Moto: Lenovo Planning To Phase Out The Motorolla Brand

Who remember this popular ad, Hello Moto?
I guess the people behind that ad must have seen the future of Motorolla.
In a bid to unify its phone businesses, Lenovo might gradually phase out the Motorolla brand which is widely credited as the first company to produce a mobile phone. A Motorola representative confirmed this via CNET. According to their source, Lenovo will still use the name “Motorola Mobility” for the company’s phone division, but it will shift the branding of its phones and wearable devices to “Moto” and “Vibe.”

The report further states that in future you will see a blue Lenovo logo on the devices along with the ‘M’ logo of Motorola
According to Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing
Though the iconic M “batwing” logo will remain, consumers will stop seeing the Motorola name on Moto products. Instead, they’ll be branded Moto by Lenovo.
“We’ll slowly phase out Motorola and focus on Moto,”

At the end of the day, whether we like it or not, this indirectly means RIP to Motorolla

Nice1 from lenovo. But instead of them being so obsessed about changing the motto logo, they should rather think of slashing down the price of their phones cause i really fdont think they are worth it
