Acer Launches World's First USB Type-C Monitor

Apple Fanboys/ Users with USB Type-C phones will definitely like this.
Acer has announced an all-new H7 series monitor which is the first monitor to support USB Type-C. The series will also be compatible with Apple’s latest 12-inch MacBooks and will allow you to charge your MacBook, transfer data and display content over one USB Type-C cable.  Also, Its two additional, regular-sized USB ports will allow you to connect a keyboard, mouse, or any other supported peripheral which can help in eliminating the need for multiple cables and adapters.
When it comes to specs. Acer’s H7 series will be available in 25-inch and 27-inch screen sizes with 2,560×1,440 pixels resolution, Acer TrueHarmony & DTS Sound, HDMI 2.0 ports and a 100% sRGB coverage. It will be priced at $499.99 (equiv. N98,000)
Now imagine how cool this will be if you have a USB type-C Smartphone.
