MissTechy Reviews The Gatekeeper – A Device That Will Automatically Lock & Unlock Your PC Without Pressing Any Button

The guys at GKChain – a US based tech startup sent me a very interesting device some weeks back and I had a field day testing out its functionalities. The name of the device is Gatekeeper and it wants you to abandon your old password ways without having to throw your passwords away – Gatekeeper will  monitor your proximity and automatically lock your computer each time you leave your desk and unlocks when you return.

With this device, you don’t need to press any buttons or type any password, all you will need is the Gatekeeper and your presence – in Coldplay’s voice, Call it magic. The device also has a tracking device that will locate your device if it goes missing.
To see the device in action, just click on the video above and let me know what you think.

The but In this device is that, I can only use it when am in private. using it in Public, “especially in bad ass campus environment” make my PC unsecured.

    1. Tobi Ayeni says:

You can also use it with your password. So your computer is protected in both ways.
