Justice League Of Tech To The Rescue: A Group Of Rich Tech Men & Woman Wants To Save The World

When I saw Meg Whitman’s name, I couldn’t resist smiling. Go girl!
When you see a combination of individuals like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Ma, Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman, and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson in the same room and supporting the same cause you should know that something gargantuan is about to happen.
its about to go down
Apparently, this Justice league of tech entrepreneurs are joining forces to develop clean technologies and address climate change. The organization, known as the Breakthrough Energy Coalition, was officially announced on Sunday. Sadly, the 19 countries that signed up for the initiative include USA, China, India, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom – yeah, no Nigeria, yet!
According to Dailydot, the group has made a commitment to distribute funds to technologies and initiatives that will help to bring the world closer to a “zero emissions energy future.” The coalition will aim at investing in a variety of sectors including electricity generation and storage, transportation, industrial use, agriculture, and, energy system efficiency. Bill Gates referred to these investments as “novel technologies,” or technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, or affordability in comparison to current options.

My favorite steal from Pinterst pre-filling mason jars with the night’s sintagure cocktail, adding a lid, and then placing the jars over ice in a galvanized tub for guests to grab as they please. Not only does it look cute and casual, but it gives my husband the opportunity to socialize with guests instead of playing bartender all night long.

From WaPo:"Violence in wake of Koran incident fuels U.S. doubts about Afghan partners, By Greg Jaffe"That's what we get for scrubbing Kipling and Graham Greene from the public school curriculum: a generation of public leaders who are constantly surprised by the Law of Foreseeable Consequences.
