Do You Still Use Google+? You Might Like This. If You Don't, Google Wants To Win You Over

If I were to assume, I’d say more than 50% of Nigerians don’t use Google+, but since no research has been done to certify that number, I’d keep my assumptions to myself.  Honestly, though, how many people still use Google+? I only use mine to build my SEO, but for those who don’t have a blog, do you still use it and why?
Despite being described as a failure, Google+  wants to win you over by getting a major makeover focused on collections and communities. Google is making Google+ an interest based network than a personal one i.e. less about you and more about what you are into. See a GIF image of the makeover.
Even if Google hasn’t started rolling out an update, you can try it out at the moment (a little cheat code, but don’t tell anyone) Just go to Settings > and click inside the search bar at the top of the screen.

Is this good enough to win you over?

I’ve had a Google+ account for years but have never really used it. Currently I’ve signed up to their “Local Guide” mapping programme as street mapping in my area has consistently been terrible.
This is linked to my Google+ account and to date is the only real use I can think of for it.

I love Google+ more than Facebook. Unfortunately, quite a number of Africans can’t appreciate the embedded benefits just because they don’t know how to tap into it.
