Who Guessed This Correctly? NCC Extends MTN's Fine Deadline

MTN gets one more chance to make this right.

MTN’s Fine Gets Extended

Today, MTN confirmed the extension of the N1.04 trillion fine deadline slammed against it by NCC. They confirmed it in a statement sent to its shareholders.  The statement reads:

Although the Nigerian Communications Commission set a deadline for payment of the fine by Monday, 16 November 2015, shareholders are advised that the Nigerian authorities have, without prejudice, agreed that the imposed fine will not be payable until the negotiations have been concluded.

Mr. Phuthuma Nhleko himself met with the Nigerian authorities to continue the ongoing discussions with them.

Even though there are no new deadline dates mentioned, I think Nigerians will still be watching in 3D.
Now, who guessed the outcome of this drama correctly?

Many different colours of long legs must have walking around behind the curtain. I see an intervention of the South African president in this extension. I knew South Africa was up to something when they promised to release the money they withheld last year this week. I knew they are up to some games. Politricks.

Why won’t they extend it, when its all not totally MTN’s fault.
