Apple's Earning Report: Just Like Macbeth, It Is Safe To Say That No Device Born Of An Android Can Kill Apple Inc.

I don’t want to make an absolute statement, but with Apple’s Q3 earning report, it is safe to assume that currently, no device born of an Android can kill Apple Inc. These guys are high on expensive crack!!
APPLE SALES
The multinational corporation sold a total of 48 million devices in 3 months, which raked in revenues of $51.5 billion and $1.96 earnings per share during the quarter,

In a new interview with the Journal, Cook attributed the iPhone’s continued growth to a record number of Android defectors. Cook revealed that 30% of new iPhone buyers came from Android.
Asides the iPhone sales, Apple  also set a new quarterly record for Mac sales, with 5.71 million sold.

The only downside in their report was the 19.5% decline in iPad sales.
See a summary of their earnings versus analysts’ expectations.

  • Revenue: $51.5 billion versus expectations of $51.04 billion
  • EPS: $1.96 versus expectations of $1.88
  • iPhone units: 48.05 versus expectations of 48.5 million
  • iPad units: 9.88 versus expectations of 10.2 million
  • Mac units: 5.71 million versus expectations of 5.6 million
  • Gross margin: 39.9% versus expectations of 39.3%
  • December quarter revenue: $75.5-$77.5 versus expectations of $77.13 billion.

Honestly, Apple Inc. is proving to us that they are not in anyone’s league. However, if you read Macbeth’s story by Williams Shakespeare, you should know who killed Macbeth at the end of the day.

Hmmmmmm…this company called apple whatever or whoever is recharging their goodluck charm is not of this world. Other oems are struggling apple is riding the rollercoaster of profits. Chai their shareholders are always smilling to the bank. The iphone has proven to be a real gold cauldron for apple inc. CongrTs to them.

  2. Simeon Udoh says:

Apple is a top smartphone manufacturer on its Own. But I still Android Might be overtaking them soon. Take For Example, majority of smartphone users in Nigeria are Android Oriented.

    1. Noni says:

The facts are, more Android phones are sold, but the money is with Apple. Even then, the Android share is split so many different ways, to date there isn’t any Android manufacturer that can compete sales-wise with the iPhone.

  3. kenny says:

The secret to this is 1. D popularity of the iphones 2. The market, 80% of celebs use it and 3. China. I read somewhere that apple makes d HIGHEST profit in China and no other phone company makes as much. Samsung for dominate but d wereys are too desperate to be no. 1

    1. Noni says:

Samsung will never win in China. Xiaomi and Huawei offer devices that can go head-to-head with Samsung at more competitive prices. Samsung tried too hard to copy, then beat Apple and in China of all places they underestimated the market.

  4. Chide says:

Na wa o. they’ve got grounds

  5. FELIX says:

Yes” apple has more grounds compared to androıd. But ıs that what ıs gıvıng them the mıght to keep theır phones @ the same prıce wıth a plot of land ın Ibadan?

  6. DY says:

    I agree with Simeon Udoh

  7. Cirphrank says:

They keep things classic and premium, that’s their edge.

  8. Mukaddas says:

Wow… I always use to think that Apple devices are meant for the elites, well this statistics contradicts my belief.. Even still i remain a loyal Android User
Anyone who has checked that Macbeth story should tell us how it ended.

  9. Emmaway Anthony says:

I think their invincibility will soon end android will overtake them

    1. Noni says:

When they stop adapting and catering to consumers, they will lose market share.. Let’s just say to date they’ve learned from BlackBerry and Nokia.

  10. Chris says:

Apple is doing pretty well….Gaining grounds all over the world, they’re gradually coming into Africa which is quite dominated by Android.
    Well… Good luck to them.
I used to hear that If Steve Jobs was alive today, he won’t Like the way Apple Inc. is operating today, I wonder if this is true.

  11. 48 million devices in 3 months??… that’s out of this world, with this progressive statistics ehhh Apple will still be leading. But I still believe in Android.

  12. Joshua says:

Interesting, apple always shows whose Boss. The phone is quite established… but the main reasons for iPhone sales is their reputation, cause specs wise… galaxy should have been able to beat them, but they can’t

  13. peterjero says:

Africa alone can’t make apple loose it’s dominace, we don’t have money here like Europeans and Americans so our dependence on the Droid is because they are cheap, just like people would believe Nigerians buy expensive cars when we only buy used expensive cars and brand new cheap Asian cars.

  14. micheal adeniji says:

    Wow. .Apple All the way..

  15. FELIX says:

    @peterjero #true talk
