#TalkTuesday: If You Were To Save Only One Keyboard Shortcut, Which Will It Be?

Last week, I imagined how life will be without our popular keyboard shortcuts. For those who don’t know, I am talking about popular keyboard shortcuts like:

  • CTRL-C / CTRL-V: To copy and paste
  • Ctrl-Z: To undo any mistake made
  • ALT-F4: Closes the active window
  • CTRL – F/ CTRL-H: To Find and replace

So let’s just imagine that out of this 4 popular keyboard shortcuts, you can only save one.

Keyboard Shortcut

Now let me spell out the consequences of each one:

A world without CTRL-C & V means that you have to type those long letters from scratch with no chance of copying

A World without CTRL-Z means no second chances especially when you accidentally delete a document you have been typing for hours.

A World without  ALT -F4 means you have to manually close all 200 windows you opened down.

A World without CTRL-F and H means you have to manually search for items, God help you if you have a 528-page document.

So which will it be? Which Keyboard Shortcut will you be willing to save

Or you’ve finished coding something in R (1000+ lines) , then while doing ctrl + s your hand slips and hits a button, you did not notice where the char. fell into 😐
