With celebrities and even the U.S. President driving the trend, you don’t need to be told that the Selfie culture is a global phenomenon that is here to stay. However, do you know that there is a dark side to selfies? I know you are like they’ve come again, but, according to the American Psychiatric Association (APA), there is a condition called selfitis – an uncontrollable urge to click images of yourselves throughout the day. The surprising fact is, a lot of people are suffering from this.
I was able to put together some signs that can help tell if you are actually a selfie addict. If you can relate with these signs, you might need to see your doctor hehe.
1. “But first, let me take a selfie!” is your most used line especially when you are looking so good.
2. You know which side of your face is the best.
3. Even when you are at home, you still dress up to take selfies.
4. You have several apps on your phone dedicated to making your selfies prettier.
5. You are an expert at posing and pouting.
7. Nowhere is off limits for you
Still in denial? I knew this might happen, that is why I’ve prepared a mini quiz that would let you know once and for all how much of an addict you are.
