When I first saw the new iPhone Ads, the first thing that came to my mind was the if e no be panadol, e no fit be like panadol Ad back in those days (I am sure most of you weren’t born then ).
Well, Apple released two interesting Ads, the first Ad was titled Hardware & Software and it had a voice-over that said, “unlike other phones, Apple designs both “the hardware part. And the software part”. the obvious motive is to subtly tell you that unlike the Android device that has the hardware made by a manufacturer and a software made by Google, with Apple, you get everything in one beautiful package.
While the second ad was titled Loved and showed how happy the average iPhone users are, they claim that 99% of people who own an iPhone love it.
Now the most interesting part is in its tagline, Apple used “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone” tagline in both videos and this brought back the if it’s not panadol, it can never be panadol” tagline to mind.
Even though it would be farfetched to say Apple copied Panadol. I find it really amusing to find some similarities between the Panadol and Apple ads.
Are you thinking like I am thinking?
