I am so excited!
It’s really cool to see women really striving to lead in the Tech industry and Dayo Oluokun has done us proud. The OAU Computer science graduate who works at ALT-I has always been passionate about tech even in school as she was named among the top 3 Women TechMakers in Ile-Ife.
She was also given a scholarship grant sponsored by CISCO to become a Scholar in Anita Borg Institute, a platform dedicated to celebrating women in computer science.
Her passion took her further and made her compete in the monthly engineering competition created by Jason Njoku, the founder of iRokoTV, where he promised to give the winner a cash prize of 1 million naira.
Our #WomanInTech participated and has become the first ever female to win the IrokoTV Engineering competition.
According to Jason, “We had 105 people take the test this time. We had several scores higher than Sayo’s score in May. 389, 381 (x2), 331, 329 and 324. But Dayo scored 400/400. 100 percentile.”
Congrats Dayo Oluokun!
