According to a report from Reuters, it seems that the “slowly-fading” Canadian company are interested in creating an Android device – BlackBerry is considering launching Android devices for the first time ever!

The report did not leave any guarantee from Blackberry as Reuter’s sources told them that it is merely under consideration by the company. According to Reuters sources, the move to use the Android OS is part of BlackBerry’s strategy to focus on software and device management.

In my opinion, I think it would be really great for Blackberry to create an Android centric device instead of allowing Android Apps run on Blackberry OS, whatever the case, this is an interesting development from Blackberry and I can’t wait to see how this pans out.

      Yes, we should just conclude, BB is dead. In fact releasing an Android version or whatever they may want to name is would mean the announcement of the death.
