Can you guess which Tech Companies pay the most?
While researching online, I came across a post on Facebook where Jessica Shu, a 19-year-old undergraduate (probably a programmer) was trying to see which company would be best for her to work as an Intern, she decided to do her own research and came up with a list of what the popular Tech Companies offer their UNDERGRADUATES as salaries
She posted it via a Facebook community called the hackathon hackers, Her original post is here. I decided to convert the salaries she listed, to Naira (Conversion rate being N202) and my goodness!! I was speechless for 10 minutes .. okay not up to that, maybe 6 :).
The purpose of this article is not to leave you speechless, no! The purpose is for you to ask yourself some vital questions that might help shape your career, or motivate you to build up yourself.
Below is the question I want you to ask yourself:
IF THESE BIG TECH COMPANIES SHOULD COME CALLING: DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO WORK THERE???

This compilation was created on the 22nd of November,2014, which means that some of these companies might have increased their fee or probably reduced it a bit. When I brought this up, some people were of the opinion that the salaries wasn’t up to standard, others wanted to cry.
I want to know your opinions “Do you think that these Tech Companies are stingy? or way too kind?” remember that these are undergraduates that would probably be within the age range of 19 – 24 years.
