Have You Tried Twitter’s ‘Extended’ 140-Characters Limit?

Yesterday, Twitter officially announced that it is easing the 140-character limitation. Henceforth, media attachments such as photos, videos and polls are exempted from the character limit, as well as tweets that are quoted in a retweet.

Up until yesterday, if you were going to post a tweet with any form of media, they’d put you back 20 to 23 characters. Now, since that the link doesn’t count, you can post all the selfies, football gifs and videos you want to and still get away with your 140 characters intact!

While we celebrate this new dawn of the freed Twitter character limit, which other feature would you love to see on Twitter?

Psst: Be prepared for an onslaught of images/gifs/videos in almost every tweet.

WELL, ITS NOT A BIG THING FOR ME THOUGH, BUT I WILL LIKE TO SEE TWITTER NATIVELY IMPLEMENT WHAT A THIRD PARTY APP (STORM IT) IS DOING. WHERE I WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WHERE I WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WRITE MY LONG TWEETS AT ONCE AND TWITTER WILL NUMBER IT ONCE THE CHARACTER LIMIT FOR A TWEET IS REACHED…
