I got the update at exactly 12:30 pm today, but I wanted to make a short Instagram video to show off a couple of the Bixby’s capabilities. I later regretted that decision because it took forever to record the video thanks to generator noise. Anyway, like the title already suggests, Samsung’s voice assistant is officially available in Nigeria. To get this, you must have a Galaxy device (preferably the S8, you must also install the latest update with model number G950FXXU1AQH3…
Once the update has been downloaded, press the Bixby button on the side of the phone to trigger the update – it may not be instant but should become available throughout the day.
Download and you are good to go. At the moment, Bixby only supports two languages, but Samsung promises to include more soon.
By the way, you can watch the video to find out a bit about what Bixby can do.
Also, let me know if you want me to do a YouTube video showing off the Bixby and the Google Assistant.
P.S. Don’t laugh at my cringe-worthy dance moves:
