It is a Billyuns something.
More than one billion people now use Whatsapp and Gmail. Although, the later struggled to get to that mark than the former.
Whatsapp announced its milestone along with Gmail yesterday and as Whatsapp puts it: That’s nearly one in seven people on Earth who use WhatsApp each month to stay in touch with their loved ones, their friends and their family.
To monetize this number, Whatsapp will adopt WeChat’s method(In China) by offering you the opportunity to connect with businesses using your WhatsApp, i.e. giving you the opportunity to make restaurant reservations, book plane flights and a whole lot.
Meanwhile, thanks to the Google play store integration, it now feels like everyone has a Gmail account. To celebrate, Google created a 30 seconds video which I found interesting.
Thanks a billion for helping us make Gmail better and better!https://t.co/Rd82YqwGjl
