Uncle Mark and his Oliver Twist tendencies. After going after platforms like Periscope, Steam, Craigslist and Snapchat, Facebook, the undisputed king in the social networking space is ready to take on LinkedIn.
According to Reuters, Facebook tested a feature that would let page admins create job postings and receive applications from candidates, a move that is directly aimed at LinkedIn and Glassdoor, platforms that make revenues from job seekers and recruiters.

According to Facebook’s Spokesman:
“Based on behavior we’ve seen on Facebook, where many small businesses post about their job openings on their Page, we’re running a test for Page admins to create job postings and receive applications from candidates.”
The jobs will appear under a dedicated “Jobs” tab on Facebook and users looking to apply would have to click on the “Apply Now” button, where the application will auto-fill using information from the user’s profile.
No word on when the service might launch, though.
