You are waiting for the iPhone 7 (or the iPhone 6se), right?
Anyway, the failure to buy new iPhones is having a negative impact on Apple’s iPhone sales which has sent profits down 27% to $7.8bn while revenues fell 14.6% to $42.4bn. Although Apple still made a ton of money this quarter, the iPhone didn’t bring in enough probably because a lot of Apple fanboys already have an iPhone and are not looking to get another one until the company makes a significant change (which might not be forthcoming with the iPhone 7/iPhone 6SE).
However, despite this, Apple still sold 40.4 million iPhones during the period, down from 51.2 million over the three months prior and from the 47.5 million shipped this time last year but better than the analysts expected.
Meanwhile, iPad unit sales dropped down 9 percent to 9.95 million and Mac sales dropped 11.3 percent to 4.3 million units (Analysts had expected it to sell 4.4 million Macs during the quarter).
On a brighter note, Apple made a lot of revenue from its services which jumped 19 percent from the previous year.
