Whatever research work and marketing Blackberry did has finally paid off. According to CNBC, BlackBerry’s stock jumped 6% to $8.28.7 in their last earning report.
However, Revenue fell to $548 million, but still beat analyst estimates of $489 million. There was also a growth in the company’s software and services revenue. Another interesting fact is that the Blackberry PRIV has been received so well even beyond expectation.
According to John Chen:
“To sustain our current direction, we are stepping up investments to drive continued software growth and the additional PRIV launches,”
Hopefully, with more push, their revenue will also see an increase.
