I haven’t confirmed the report yet, but all efforts to speak to the management of Konga are in the process.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, Three staff members of Konga appeared before a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, for allegedly stealing 500 units of Infinix Hot 2 mobile phone which is valued to cost about N9.6 million.
Their names include: Ibrahim Maradesa(31), Oluwatoyin Salau(41) and Jerry Idenudia(27), and the report claims that they all reside at Ogba, Ikeja area of Lagos State. According to Roman Unuigbe, the prosecutor, the accused were drivers with Konga online retailer and they diverted a truck loaded with the items to an undisclosed destination.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge, if found guilty, they might face 3 years imprisonment.
The magistrate has adjourned the case till Feb. 17, 2016, for substantive trial and granted the bail of N500,000 each with two sureties who must reside in Lagos.
Now, do you think the report has some loopholes?
